Recap 2022 ✨

2022 look I made it to the next year

Without a doubt, it’s time for me to cheer

But let’s rewind to keep my memories intact

This will help me and my diary interact

So here it is:

JANUARY

You started with a smile so bright

With new beginnings supposed to bring light

Then came the news that shook me to the core

My grandma’s death that I couldn’t ignore

(Though she left in peace completing 106 years with no health issues and tears)

Slowly slowly the days went by

With grief and sorrow that made me cry

Months later I realised it was life

And I need to move on and strive

Don’t know how quickly the time passed

When Holi bought back happiness at last

APRIL & MAY

You were full of celebrations

With anniversaries, and birthdays in my relations

In JUNE I flew to Singapore

Wore nice clothes, and clicked pictures just like I had before

JULY we ended up listening to..

We can let July just be July

Let the sun hang in the sky..

Then together we sang

Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna

Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare

in the month of August

when the Sun was the hottest

Here comes September

All prepping to welcome our newest member

In OCTOBER

I could see smiles on our faces

As the baby boy filled the empty spaces (my nephew “Stavya”)

I am gonna skip NOVEMBER

Coz last but the best is DECEMBER

My birthday month it is

When I can’t get rid of hair frizz

Jingle bells Jingle bells all I hear

Telling us it’s the end of the year

That’s all I can remember

With this, I end my 31st December

& with that 2022 season comes to an end!
