Why The Big Chill Café Is Worth Every Penny

The Big Chill Café has been my go-to spot since my very first bite. As the name suggests, it’s the perfect place to sit, relax, and enjoy great food with friends and family. The café’s chill vibe, mouthwatering aroma, and Audrey Hepburn-inspired ambience make it an experience worth savouring.


Here’s the catch: I always thought it was Audrey Hepburn’s café (yes, the British actress!) because her pictures grace the menu, walls, and overall decor. Imagine my surprise when a quick Google search revealed that it was founded by Aseem Grover and Fawzia Ahmed in 2000. Mind blown!


The place has this magical essence of homestyle Italian cooking, combined with classy American movie-themed decor, and the food is just… heavenly.

P.S.: I’m literally drooling as I write this. Yes, it’s that good.

As a West Delhi girl, I’m often hopping between Vasant Kunj, Connaught Place, and Khan Market, and guess what? Big Chill is always there to rescue me with its "sukoon"-inducing food and welcoming vibe. It’s like having a comfort zone in every corner of the city.




BITES I'VE HAD FROM THEIR MENU:

- Brocolli Soup: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No words needed. The rating speaks for itself. (Excuse me while I wipe the drool!)


- Garlic Bread (with/without cheese): ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The bread is soft and fresh, the cheese is perfectly melted, and the aroma is incredible.


- Pasta (Penne Primavera/Penne Arabiatta): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Both the red and white sauce pasta are top-notch. The creaminess, flavour, and quality are a chef’s kiss.

- Baked Penne Broccoli & Mozzarella: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

This green, fresh delight is made-to-order and takes about 15 minutes to serve. P.S. If you love broccoli, you have to try this.

- Pizza (Veggie Pizza, Four Seasons Pizza, Margherita, Piri Piri): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Their pizzas are divine, whether you choose regular or thin crust. Pro tip: Customize the Four Seasons Pizza with your favourite toppings for a personal twist.


- Ravioli with Butter and Sage: ⭐️⭐️.5

Tbh, I didn’t like it much. Maybe I set my expectations too high after trying ravioli in Thailand recently (which was amazing).

Coming to my favourite part, i.e., Desserts and Shakes. Yummy...🤤

- I am in love with Chocolate Caramel Crunch Pastry. It's like a cherry on top of all my food. Click here to check out the unboxing reel of this delicious dessert.

- Chocolate Noir (Super Thick Shake): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My all-time favourite shake! I used to order it on every visit until I discovered a Bailey-infused shake in 2022, which was equally good.

- Burger (Veggie Mushroom): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered by my niece on our last visit. Though I couldn’t taste it (thanks, mushroom allergy!), my dad and niece loved it. It was so filling that we ended up packing the rest of our pizza and pasta to go.

Everything at The Big Chill Café is fresh, tempting, and worth every penny. The American vibes, English music, and cinematic decor make it an unforgettable dining experience. At approximately 1700 INR for two, it’s a splurge you won’t regret.
